Social Media is here in 2022 (obviously) and there is no doubt that social media can drive business results, but there are questions to be answered about each platform, and the best platforms for you and your business.

If you are referring to business results as in sales, there is no doubt that the best platform out there is Facebook. Their ad platform, which has been limiting ver few targeting capabilities recently, is still the best.


It is then followed by TikTok, yes TikTok. Why? TikTok ads are extremely cheap to run when it comes to how much it costs to reach a certain amount of people, they are fresh and new, and they offer an almost identical ad platform as Facebook.


What platforms will drive the most attention and new awareness?


TikTok. Period. You could start on TikTok today and have 20 followers by the end of the week if you post 2-3 videos a day. TikTok's algorithm is based on interests, which means whatever you watch on your For You page, you will get shown more of that content. Do not miss out on the rare opportunity of TikTok.


Which platforms have the best ad platform?


Facebook still has the best ad platform out there to this day. Its AI and Lookalike features are so advanced that it's hard to not find the audience that you are looking for. Between the targeting, custom audiences, and lookalike audiences, Facebook is the clear winner of the best ad platform (this includes Instagram as well.)


TikTok is following in a close second due to its similarities with Facebook/Instagram.


Which platform is the best to use in 2022?


Now, this is dependent on your goals and niche...


If you are looking for awareness and brand, use TikTok, Pinterest, or LinkedIn.


If you are looking to push sales, use Facebook and Instagram.


Now, we're not saying to neglect one of these platforms or another, but depending on your goals, you can drive your specific mission with the platform that suits your needs.


If we had to suggest a platform, it would be TikTok. The possibilities are endless, and yes we do mean that. The interest-based algorithm is one that we haven't seen in a while, and it's similar to early Instagram when it comes to organic reach. This will go away, so move fast.
